  • door knob covers

THese worked like magic to keep the twins contained. They still have troble opening them, but they figured it out last year. Luke (age 3) knows how to break the damn things off the doorknobs without even a struggle. He just somehow pries them apart. I don't really care- I just had them there as a "suggestion" that he should stay in his room for "rest time", but apparently he doesn't care to do that.

He comes down the stairs holding the 2 pieces and asks me to put it back on the doornkob. he looks so guilty when he does this... Then he stays in his room for about 10 minutes until he does it again.

I'm not about to reverse the door locks, I just thought it was funny that he mastered the door knob covers in like, 20 minutes. Once again, he is the child who has shown me that I know absolutely nothing about parenting.

    Re: door knob covers

I may have to look into this... if he starts to wake me up in the morning.

Seriously, I don't get why the door knob covers don't work for him. They worked for everyone else! :banghead:
