Clear backpack

Why did it take me this long to figure this out? Everyone should have a clear backpack. I just got one with a center pocket (I do with it was divided, but no one seems to make one like that), two side pockets, and two front pockets. It's all organized for the car with anything we might need...
Change of clothes for both kids
basic meds (including aspirin b/c you never know when someone's going to have a heart attack in front of you )
sunscreen
bug spray
bibs
baby food
spoons
table cover
little toys
crayons
paper
stain remover
hand sanitizer
swim diaper
regular diapers
socks for all
To be added to as needed.
Anyway, it's great. I can see everything. I get so tired of digging through a diaper bag, not finding what I need, and finding it as soon as I get home. Problem solved!

I LOVED the idea..until I started to picture ME doing it. People would see (in addition to something like your list) goldfish cracker crumbs, random lego pieces, broken crayons, crumpled pieces of paper with phone numbers,and all the other random trash I seem to stuff in the diaper bag only to be discovered (much) later. I think I like the anonymity of my black bag. At least I can perpetuate the illusion I have it together...a little.

I'm so jealous of naturally organized people!!!
