  • I feel so badly!!

I feel horrible. Aidan was upstairs sleeping in his cradle and the phone rang...Of course the battery on the thing died after I had been on the phone for 2 minutes (It just won't keep a charge!!!) and so I had to go into Thomas' office to talk. I thought I would hear the baby crying if he woke up.....and he didn't...so I talked on the phone for over an hour 8O and when I walked out of the office and towards the kitchen I hear him .... He must have been crying for a LONG time because the cries were like the moans of a baby that had given up on mommy coming 8O

His eyes are all puffy....I feel horrible...I just feel HORRIBLE!!!!

    I feel sooooo HORRIBLE!

    Kris,

Go easy on yourself, you have four kids, you teach, you maintain this website...and this wasn't intentional. Give Aidan a big hug and go out and buy a baby monitor.

Yeah, what Kelly said! I've done that before, too. When Sydney was a baby, she cried her little eyes out in her crib for a very long time and even in this old house with thin walls, I somehow didn't hear her! They are kind of sad and pathetic when they've cried for a really long time, but I'm sure you didn't do any permanent damage.
      Awake is the new sleep!

Here is some REAL irony...Kelly called and of course the bleepin' phone immediately ran out of juice (we are SO getting a new phone tonight!) and wouldn't you know that I walked out of the office because someone was at the door...and he was crying again

This has been a BAD day!
        (especially for Aidan )
