Alex had his last day of preschool today 
I felt like crying through the entire end-of-the year service and picnic....It was so funny to see how the children all dealt with it differently. Many of the little girls were hugging the teacher and crying...and the boys (my little strapping lad included) were wrestling, playing and goofing around. Alex's 'end' to the baby years included him screaming 'good-bye' to his teachers while he ran out the door ahead of me.....sort of symbolic....he left me there behind in the preschool to catch up to him while he ran right out the door.
waaah...he's growing up.
