  • Father's Day Crafts?

Anybody have any cute craft ideas for Father's Day? I might go to Michael's and get those garden stones that they put their handprints in. I need to have the girls make something for my dh as well as both sets of grandparents (the grandmas got the shaft this year as I never got around to getting cards or gifts in the mail). I like the idea of the stones since I could put the baby's hand or foot in there as well, but I'm curious if anyone else has any other good ideas.

My daughter decorated a switchplate cover at preschool. I thought that was pretty clever. My son made notecards and stationary last year with his own pictures and "photocopy art". This year, I think he's going to decorate picture frames. I uncovered a bunch of unfinished frames in my craft closet when I was packing for the move. That's got to be a sign

Those are great ideas! I ended up going to Hobby Lobby and buying 3 of those stepping stone kits. It was fun but very messy! Also, I found out that it is next to impossible to get a decent footprint or a handprint imprinted into cement for an 8 week old baby. I had envisioned this darling little handprint--I don't know what I was thinking!
