I found out about a neat program that movie theaters are doing...showing movies and allowing moms and caregivers to bring the kids - the lights are still partially on and the movies are current. Check out http://www.reelmoms.com. I haven't gone yet but plan to soon.

This is a great idea. When babies are really little, its so convenient to take them out, but you get nasty looks from other adults for having an infant out at night, and everyone expects them to be crying all the time. This way if they do cry, no big deal.
Now if they would start providing toddler corrals so we could see PG-13+ films without scaring the bejeeses out of the kids or paying $100 for a night at the movies.
