Well, I took the plunge and signed ds#1 up for montessori today. We visited several schools in the area (both traditional and montessori), and I think this one will be a good fit. It's a bit of a haul, though (15-20 min), so I hope I still feel this way in a few months.
The traditional school was closer to us (still about 10 - 15 min away), so if the drive gets to me, I can make it a BIT better.
I'm hopeful about how Jacob will do in montessori - I think it will really suit him. Also, I took the "shop around" advice (from Kelly?) to heart, and that paid off. The first "montessori" I went to had a director who used really poor grammar "Poor thing, he don't got no ..." I cringed, and left.
Fingers crossed!
