  • 33 weeks....

Again where did the time go??? I had my 33 wk appt on Friday. I measured 32 1/2 weeks, no big deal. I am thinking this baby will be about the same size as Brigham- high 7s low 8s. I can't believe that on Wed I will have 6 weeks left.

My foot is feeling a bit better. My OB felt sorry for me. We discussed induction and Matt's schedule- Matt had a specific question to ask her- can't remember what it is now. I do remember she said that if he gets a week off from the hospital she will induce me on the 12th. I told her I would only agree to an induction if I am showing signs of progress- she agreed.

My weight- I am at 160 lbs, up 35 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. I have been doing pelvic stretches. I did them with Brigham and I don't know if it helped my labor or not, but I do know that it made the pain of my pelvis stretching out hurt much less, especially when Brigham dropped.

I am trying to figure out what I should do for the car seat. I don't think Emma is big enough to move to a seatbelt positioning seat- she is 33 lbs, and 36 in. Brigham is in a Britax RA. I am thinking about moving him to a seat similar to Emma's (Graco Ultra CarGo), and then having the baby be in the Britax RA. Then there is getting the baby an infant seat, but who knows. I will probably put the new little guy in the Britax, and move Brigham to another seat. I am going to be just getting out of my cast shortly before the baby is born, and the last thing I am going to need is to carry around an extra item. I will most likely do what I have done in the past and carry the baby around in a Bjorn carrier, I have even thought about trying out a sling this time around.

The baby's room will get painted Thanksgiving weekend. My parents are coming and said they will help with that.

A little update---- got GREAT NEWS!!!! Matt was able to switch his vacation week with one of the partners to 12-18 Dec. :ra: Now all I need is for my body to cooperate, and show some signs of labor prior to that. Oh well if it doesn't happen I would rather have Matt have vacation closer to my EDD than how it was before.
