So, the previous owner left her grandmother's chadelier which is gorgeous. But filthy, especially since they smoked so the parts are yellow and dusty. My OCD kicked in and I decided to clean it. I knew it wasn't all going to get cleaned in one day- this thing has arms and shades and beads, etc.
but, I also learned a very valuable lesson about cleaning chandeliers...and Ipm pretty sure it can b extrapolated to other lights. Don't clean the bulbs while they are on with a damp cloth. I damn near electrocuted myself. My fingers still tingle!
Someone hire me a maid before I kill myself.

PS- two hours later, I have two sections done and I had to take a break to open my present from pinkpickles.
