My brother made this for us tonight. He cooked the salmon in parchment paper but most any method would work. We cooked it at high heat because I already had the oven on to roast some veggies. I'm not sure if that is a typical temp for parchment cooking but it worked. The directions are vague -- it's not very exact.
4 salmon fillets
lime
cream
wasabi powder
Preheat oven to 450. Place a fillet on a square of parchment paper (maybe 12"12"?). Squeeze some lime juice over and season with salt and pepper. Fold the parchment (I brought the two opposing sides together and rolled down, then rolled and folded the other edges, like a present) and put on a rimmed baking sheet. Repeat with other fillets. Cook about 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness.
While that is cooking, heat whipping cream in a saucepan and whisk in wasabi powder or paste to taste.
Serve fish over rice and drizzle the cream over.
