A favorite of ours...
Serves: 10-12
Ingredients:
1 32-oz. pkg frozen hash brown potatoes
3/4 c margarine melted
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c chopped onion
2 c corn flakes
1 can of chicken soup
1 8-oz. sour cream
lemon twist (optional)
parsley sprigs (optional)
Combine:
potatoes (thawed), 1/2 c butter, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese. Stir.
Spoon into greased 2 1/2 qt casserole dish.
Crush cereal, stir in remaining butter. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until bubbles along the sides and golden brown.
Garnish with lemon twist and parsley sprigs, if desired.
