Ingredients:
2 c butter or margarine
2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 angel food cake (7in. diameter, cut into 1in. cubes)
4 c finely chopped pecans
Recipe:
In a lg saucepan, combine butter and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook until syrup reaches soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Using tongs, dip cake cubes into syrup and roll in pecans. Place on waxed paper to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cake squares.
