German Beefsteak
2 to 3 large onions
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 egg
2-4 slices of bread that has been shred
1-2tsp sal
1-2 tsp. pepper
1-2tsp. garlic powder
A sprinkle of paprika
1 tsp mustard
Slice onions into rings and place in a small bowl. In another bowl, mix hamburger meat, egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and mustard. Form round balls out of the meat mixture and press so that they are no longer totally round, but aren't flat. Heat oil in a pan and cook meat on both sides for about 10 min. Add the onion rings to the fat in the pan and cook with the beefsteaks until done. Serve with onions garnishing the beef.
