It has been so long since I read this, it's hard to write an intelligent review...
Anyway, it's about a woman who is a food writer for The NY Times and tells the story of meeting and marrying her love. She is a foodie, he is not such a foodie when they meet. Her writing style is very comfortable and easy and I was quickly absorbed in the story. You find out early on that she ends up marrying Mr. Latte but that doesn't really spoil the ending because the book is more about the journey than the destination.
I do love food and cooking and loved hearing her stories of dining out, experiences with recipes, etc. But I think that even a non-foodie would like this book. There are recipes included. Very good ones too and most are not time consuming or difficult. I copied all the recipes at Kinkos before returning the book to the library. I should have just bought it![/u]
