Just finished this -- it's a light read but so enjoyable because it's fast-paced and funny. If you have read Hiaasen's work before, it is similar in that it's a satirical crime fiction taking place in Southern Florida and involving environmental themes and the Everglades.
This is the story of Joey Perrone, whose husband tries to off her by tossing her over the edge of a cruise ship. She survives but he doesn't know it and she uses that to her advantage to "haunt" him which slowly drives him over the brink.
Because it's a fast read there isn't a lot of character development. That would be my one complaint. But I read it in 2 days -- not too much of a problem.
