I picked this one up at a book liquidator's warehouse for a couple of dollars and am absolutely riveted.
O.K. I can hear your collective groan..."She's reading ANOTHER parenting book!" But this one takes a refreshing, loving approach to raising our sons. It specifically talks about raising our sons to be moral, loving, compassionate human beings during times when mixed messages (violence, early sexualization, denigration of men and women)are the norm. Do not fear, this book does not take on the scathing conservative hypocritical undertones of authors like Laura Schlessinger. Instead, it offers a unique insight into male psyche and offers a tenable, compassionate plan for parenting.
