I thought it was a great book. Very similar to The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.
About life in the future after some sort of nuclear holocaust. Women live separately from men, while the men live outside of the city and protect the women. In exchange, the women run all the industry including growing food, etc. It is the story of one particular womand who goes out to explore the world outside of women's country.
