My husband and I actually had a movie date last night and went to see this. We liked it, but not as much as we liked Desperado. Anotnio Banderas was as gorgeous as ever, but we were disappointed that Salma Hayek's part was so small. Also, they didn't really follow with the "mythical" quality of "El Mariachi" that we liked so much in Desperado. It did have some cool action scenes and the plot was pretty complex which kept our attention. I'd recommend it and even recommend seeing it on the big screen, since the surround sound and big screen definitely add to the action scenes.
