  • Little Man

Nicholas is born 100 days early and weights one pound. His heart is the size of a cashew. His statistical chance of survival is %.00004.

Nicholas goes through medical procedure after medical procedure – because science and medicine “can” keep a fetus alive. But at what price do we hold onto life?

little man is the story of how a micro-preemie brought a family to its knees. A story of a baby’s struggle for life, and of his parents struggle to keep their family from disintegrating under the unrelenting stress and chaos of hospitals, emergency medical crisis and a crushing blow to trust.
I saw this on TV late last night! I was flipping through channels in hopes of finding a good movie. The LOGO network (w/ programming geared towards the lesbian & gay populations) was airing this documentary. I saw a NICU scene and thought of Michele & Kris. I stayed tuned and was overwhelmed and deeply touched by this emotional & honest film.
I looked up more on the film this AM & discovered it was critically acclaimed. I highly recommend it. Have your tissues handy!
