What songs make you want to dance?

I have iTunes gift card in hand and I need some songs to whoop it up during this last two weeks before this race I am running.

    Suggestions, please!

Shape magazine does a monthly list of songs to work out to- check the website maybe they list them.

I also pick anything by Madonna- especially early Madonna and Gwen Stefani- if only so that I can pretend that I have the bodies, money, and time that they do to look so good.

Lately , DD and I have been hopping up and down to Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend". It's bouncy.

What kind of dancing? Loud and wild? Or swaying to the music? I'm still in to Lily Allen's tunes. It's more of a sway than a bounce, though.....

My post may be too late for your race, but this is a list of the songs that keep me going during a marathon:

I like Latin music the best:
        Paulina Rubio: any album
Los Rabanes: I Shot the Law
Mana: Sabanas Frias, Mariposa, Eres mi religion, well anything by them.
Alejandro Sanz and Shakira: La Tortura
        J Lo: Lets get Loud
Shakira: Anything off her Donde estan las ladrones album.
        Will Smith, of course.
        Christina Aguilera: Fighter
        Black Eyed Peas: Pump It
Throwing Muses: Its Not too soon
Duran Duran: Hungry like the Wolf, Rio
        The Cure: Just Like Heaven
        Blondie: anything
        ABBA: Dancing Queen
INXS: upbeat tunes like New Sensation, Disappear
        50 Cent: In da club
JT: Sexy Back, What goes around, Cry me a River
Go Gos: Our Lips are Sealed, Vacation, Head over Heels,
U2: Where the streets have no name, Vertigo
Paula Abdul and Wilson Phillips for upbeat stuff

I bet this list just aged me, huh?

Other people please share, I'm always up for good suggestions. Unfortunately, my running partner only listens to salsa, so she rarely has any new suggestions.

Just had to add: Coldplay's Speed of Sound. Reserve this for mile 23, when you feel like death warmed over.
