Today was a day my 10 year old will remember as something not to do when she is a mother.

I am so sorry it was one of those days. Your daughter will recover, as will you. I hope you and your DH can get some time to reconnect so he has a farkin' clue of how overwhelmed you are right now. You have so very much on you plate. *hugs*

Today, my sister and her 4 kids walked over to my house after supper so that the kids could hang out together. And we could hang out together and talk. It was lovely. I miss her so much sometimes and we only live 9 blocks apart. Life is just too busy.

Yes, I just got too involved in a power struggle with my daughter when I am supposed to be the adult. I made a situation worse that she has been struggling with lately.

Today, I dressed up for therapy to make myself feel better just to start bawling and ending up a mess in the car on the way home.

Today DH is on-call at 4pm, DD is having a playdate and we are having our windows washed for the first time in 5 years. Not a good day to have a killer migraine. I think I am going to pass out, but there is not way I can take a nap.

Today the universe got me back for commenting on the cleanliness (or lack of) on the rental house I'm going to. I had two people stop by to see my current place with NO notice and my house is TORN up! I apologized profusely and explained that I'm packing and the kids were running around so I'm pretty sure the people all understood. But I am embarrassed!!!

Today I have great neighbors who took all my kids so I could sleep off my migraine. I love them!

Today I had enough of my kids and went to Target and Whole Foods for minor errands just to get away this evening. DH and I go away for our first full weekend without kids Aug 3-5.
