The muusic was great, but the rain really sucked. We made up for it on Sunday, we had incredible seats at Yankee Stadium for the final game for Mariano and Pettite. They also retired Jackie Robinson's number and his wife and daughter were there. Metallica played in honor of Mariano! It was great, and I don't really even like baseball, but DH was IN HEAVEN!
Omg, dh and I would have loved to be there!!! So exciting! Glad you had a fun weekend!

    • STILL fighting this cold; I'm sick of blowing my damn nose! As of this morning, seems DrB may be coming down with it now, too.
Laundry REALLY needs to be washed; I have zero motivation.
Today must be sappy, tear-jerking movie day on HBO. I've seen more sappy, sad movies than I can handle; yet, I keep watching! Must. Stop.

      • Today I Scheduled O's 5 year well check visit - he turned 5 a week and a half ago - couldn't get an appointment until the first week of Dec! Last year it was like a two week wait. How did two weeks turn into two months? I'm a bit chaffed about this for two reasons: 1. I would have called months ago if I knew it took so long to get an appt and 2. I'm a little worried about his size and I don't want his stats to be off due to waiting 2+ months. Sigh.

Today I ate amazing French fries.

Just call and get an appointment to discuss his size. It will be scheduled much sooner and you can still go back for the annual check up.

            • Today, the K Bros road their tricycles to the neighborhood park. It was really great that we can do that. It will be even better once K2 gets more confident pedaling. I felt sort of weird "picking up" the neighborhood moms but every one was very friendly.

                            • This weekend we have nothing urgent to take care of so he is cooking for me and then we are trying out a new board game together today.

*gasp* We might even watch a movie curled up on the couch together, too!

Tomorrow it is back to studying for Step 2 for him so I'm soaking in today.
