In the last week, I have heard of three different people that I have met who have lost their jobs. My mom is a customer service representative at Victoria's Secret catalogue and they just let 4 of her team members go. My brother's boss as Microsoft was just "released" for unspecified reasons. And the husband of the couple that we ate Easter dinner with just lost his job from Owens-Corning. He is the primary breadwinner and they moved here for his job.
I feel terrible for these people and have added them to the prayer list. However, the silver lining to all of this is that I see our circumstances in a whole different light. Even thought my dh's job can be seriously demanding, I'm grateful for all that we have.
