Was anyone else impressed by him today? I thought he really showed a lot of class and that he did the right thing--especially given that it had to have been a difficult political position. Flying in the face of Pelosi and the Dems who are circling the wagons around her.
I thought Panetta was such a dopey, inexplicable pick for CIA head. I still think he was an odd choice. But I have to credit him for showing character on this. I am sure it was something that the CIA--which is pretty demoralized right now--needed. Leadership and advocacy. And truth. Good for him. Good for them.
