I'll vote for anyone, absolutely anyone to get # 45 out of office.

What's wrong with AOC? She's extremely educated and committed to her district. Sure she's more left than you, but is she actually more dangerous than her fellow reps who refuse to challenge Trump?

Basically, I have no one to vote for. I am fiscally conservative, which no one is. Trump scares me to death and has continued to do what I thought he would do. It was amazing to me when I taught about all of the authoritative governments prior to WWII, the scary similarities that I saw between their tactics and those of Trump. I believe in climate change and that we need to be good stewards of our planet. However, I am pro life...BOTH life that protects the unborn and life that protects minorities, immigrants, etc. Hence, I have no one to vote for... I cannot morally vote for anyone. For the first time in my life, I may not vote. I wish Romney would run. I admire him for having the guts to vote as he did, but he is now being blackballed. Makes me incredibly sad and feeling completely hopeless. There is no party for me. I no longer call myself a Republican. I am nothing.

Bernie is doing well in the primaries. But I don’t think he’s likely to win over any swing voters or Republican voters if he gets the nomination. People will just abstain.
spaz, In most elections, it’s a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils. Is there some tally of priorities? You say that Trump scares you. Do any of the other candidates scare you as much as he does?

Further, I cannot easily recall a "pro-life" candidate who put forth policies that made childcare affordable, healthcare affordable, and fought for a living wage so that families could afford all the costs associated with raising children (or access medical care so they could prevent unwanted pregnancy).
I'd also be very mindful of how you label abortion to diverse groups of people. You don't know who here has terminated or why, whether people here work with those who access abortion services, or whether their spouses have performed abortions as part of their practice. People have lives you couldn't imagine.

It looks like Sanders is on track to win. I think he is winning because all of the more moderate votes are split among the other candidates, so one of the others might have a good chance if they could get another one of them as VP and consolidate votes. Just not sure anyone would agree to that; they all still think they have a chance to pull away on their own.Laurie

I hate Trump for a zillion reasons but I really don’t like Sanders either.
Faced with two terrible choices, I’d choose Sanders but I’d be really unhappy about it.
I’m fiscally conservative, morally “anti-abortion” (would prefer less abortion, would never personally have one but also recognize that without services saying you’re “pro-life” is actually just “pro-birth” so understand very much why people would make that choice and therefore don’t support taking it away completely), pretty socially liberal, and can’t stand the racism, misogyny, and bullshit from the current administration.
I never voted Democratic in my life until Hillary. But I am 100% a “Never Trumper”. So I will hold my nose and vote for Sanders but I’m very, very angry that the Democrats had 4 years and they’ve given us:
1) an old cranky crackpot socialist
2) a straight up old man who’s biggest claim to fame is Obama’s VP
3) an old cranky lady with limited appeal
4) a mayor of a minor city who is literally my age and has no experience
5) a senator with limited national visibility from a very small (population) state
6) whatever hot mess we are calling Bloomberg today.
THIS CANNOT BE THE BEST WE HAVE???

Sure but at least he was a Senator. Also, Obama seems like a once in a lifetime level of experience in someone that inexperienced (at national level politics).
I don’t know that this is the political moment for inexperience.
