Oooh Edward is nice! I haven't seen Edward on the list at all though. Wonder why? Maybe because of the glittering vampires movie?

Doh! It took me awhile to get why they should use the name Spencer. After William's mother, Diana Spencer. I wonder if they'll do that to further honor her.

Hmm.. Philip Spencer.. I like it!

I read that they should be leaving the hospital today so we'll all get to see them, and the Prince of Cambridge's name may be released shortly after.

I highly doubt there would be a Spencer in there. Lots of bad blood between the Queen and the Spencer family. The Queen has to approve the name.

Regarding The Tudors. . . I loved that series. I wish they continued it through Edward, Mary, and Elizabeth.

Wouldn't the Queen win some points for approving Spencer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like a good move on her part if she were to listen to me, I'll try to give her a call.

Yeah - there are some BAD Edwards in there. I am a fan of the Plantagenet era drama though (more so than the whiny egomaniacal Tudor Henrys - although I guess Henry V was pretty cool before they went downhill with 6,7, and 8)

....and I hate George. Ugh. George?? No.

                  I'll go for Spencer.

I think they get four names, actually. Plenty of room to make us all happy.

Oh heck why waste a call. Lets go over there and try on the crown jewels shall we?

I read today that it's not likely to be George even though it's the top bet, because the last Prince George of Cambridge was somewhat bad and wasn't in the good graces of Victoria. That the parents wouldn't want to remind anyone of that or want to emulate that with their newborn son.

Eh, it could be in your best interest. Then the popular association would be English prince instead of glittery vampire

Lol, I wouldn't necessarily think of the prince or the vampire. I just remembered reading a few years ago that Bella/Isabella and Edward have become popular because of the books. I actually do know a few baby Bellas, but not any Edwards. Name your kid what you want!

In other news, I would like a hairdresser to come make me look presentable when I leave the hospital. Yes please. I think we both looked like hell last time. Not that there was anyone to see!

Ok everybody this may be it! The BBC has been reporting that they're going to leave the hospital after 6pm. It's just after 6pm in London and Prince Charles just hinted we're going to see the baby tonight.

I think now's the time to watch the livestream everyone's been talking about!

This site has the livestream if you want to see it as it happens.

Also Kate's aid and hairdresser brought the baby seat and a dress through the back door earlier. I don't think they'll go past night fall. Sunset is at 9:01 pm so within the next three hours. I hope they're ready because these pictures will last a long time because of the historic importance. No rush or pressure or anything. lol

When you hear the people cheering and the cameras clicking you'll know they've arrived.

                                We have confirmation!

Kensington Palace have issued this statement:

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will be discharged this evening from St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son will travel home to Kensington Palace.
Their Royal Highnesses would like to reiterate their thanks to the hospital for the care and treatment they have all received.
I wonder if they'll wait until 8 pm again? It will be the golden hour for the sunlight which would be lovely. However, it is partly cloudy today in London so I wouldn't count on that. Now that the first hour has almost past I'd expect them in the next hour because there will be more light than in the very last hour before sunset.
