Did anyone see the clip of the interview between Brittney Spears and Matt Lower on the Today Show?

I tried to find the clip but MSN isn't loading them right now.

You'd think that one of "her people" would tell her:

1.) don't wear tops you are falling out of when you are trying to convey credibility as an adult, an intelligent woman, AND a good parent

2.) don't chew gum in an interview

3.) don't have chipped, dark nail polish on short "bitten looking" nails

4.) come prepared with kleenex so you don't have to wipe your nose multiple times with your polish chipped fingers...


I know she's young but c'mon. She looked like a college student who woke up from drinking all night with her buddies -- aside from her "obviously pregnant" body of course.

I felt a little sorry for her. She seems like she is such a mess right now.

I read about this. In the interview she referred to herself as an "emotional wreck". I'd just call her a wreck. Poor kids don't stand a chance.

The full interview is on Dateline tonight, I beleive at 8. I agree that she wasn't prepped well for this interview, I think she needs a new publicist and a new make-up artist/stylist.

I really think she's trying to be a responsible mother and I think she knows she has gotten herself into a bad position with her pregnancy, I just wish someone she could trust would step up and help her. I think her mom is too busy trying to launch her little sister's career.

She appears to be a character in one of those WE/Lifetime movies. Its just plain sad.

I saw parts of it--the gum chewing about pushed me over the edge. I felt sorry for her. She looked a mess and I wasn't convinced that things are quite as peachy on the homefront and she claims.

Honestly I think her mom missed some basic parenting lessons, and know they're so busy trying to get little sis a hot career, Britney is left floundering on her own.

Lesson #1: Buy bras that fit
Lesson #2: As a general rule, your shirt should cover most of said bra
Lesson #3: New moms don't usually let their goodies hang out all over
Lesson #4: Don't chew gum like a cow ... not attractive

The girl can sing (not a fan of her music), but someone should have spent a little more time with her on the details.

I feel bad for her. People need to cut her a break. I just hope she is able to return to pre-mommy Brittany. Those clips of her videos were amazing.

I figure if Madonna can do it, Brittany should be able to as well.

I was going to start a thread on this but you beat me to it! I actually TIVO'd the interview I am a hollywood gossip junkie.

i could not believe she'd go on national tv wearing that awful outfit and fried hair and clumpy mascara. I could not stop staring at the big clump of mascara over her right eye. she looked terrible.

i still think, if you sell your wedding photos, your baby photos, do a reality show about your marriage...then you can't start complaining about your overdone media coverage. you asked for it. why go on national tv to ask for privacy? that makes no sense. i am wondering if she wore the outfit/makeup because she knows it will generate a lot of talk and a lot of attention and continue to sell magazines. if she went on tv looking great then there would have been less talk since it wouldn't be as interesting. she hasn't made any new albums or done anything in years, but she is on the front pages of the tabloids daily so she continues to make money there not having done any real work. she probably likes it that way.

I don't know about the girlfriend. She does have some step kids now from K-Fed's last marriage, right?
