I'd love to play!! I have a T2i with the kit lens (but I'm not sure where it is now), a sigma 28mm f/1.8 and a Cannon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L. I have learned everything from sitting at the feet of friends who know what they are doing, which is to say, I've not had a class. Learning my camera and editing tools is my New Years resolution!

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure I have more than I know how to use well. I love that prime and use it often, but I have an ocean of improvement ahead Thanks for doing this!! Your pics are always gorgeous!!

I haven't tried a zoom lens yet. Ive stuck to prime lenses so far. I've seen some incredibly sharp action images off of that zoom lens though. I'm dying to play with it. I have a 50mm/1.2 L and 35mm/1.4 L. I do love my nifty fifty. If you ever want to trade for a couple of weeks let know

Is there a way to do this with the photos being a little more private (call room permissions maybe?)?

We're looking into that. Maybe a seperate room with "call room settings for anyone that wants to participate/view.

That would be great since inevitably all the pics will be of DD or DH.

My only camera is my iPhone and I have no photo knowledge, but aspire. Can I still play?

Of course But don't blame me if you catch the photography bug and end up with an expensive hobby.

I'd be thrilled to learn a thing or two! It's one of those hobbies I've always wanted to get into...in my secret life I aspire to be the photographer for a puzzle company. No lie.

I've created a "photography workshop" forum here in the psych ward. The only people who should be able to see the threads and posts in it are admins and the people who expressed interest in this thread. Post here if you want to be added to the forum.

I moved the various P52 threads into the new forum, and made GreyhoundsRUs the moderator.

Please let me know if you see anything hinky with the forum or permissions!
