I think I will do the iPhone version. Dh and I used to both have great 35mm cameras back in the day (before digital) and now we are only using our iPhones (so so sad).

I loved my old 35mm! I only gave it up for digital about 3 years ago...

Just to clarify: if you see posts under the forum "Photography Workshop", you've been added. Posts under "Photography" are still visible to everyone (This is a "Photography" post, but posts like "GRU P52" are Workshops!)

Just got back from vacation... I'm interested! Like others, not sure how often I'll be able to participate but I've been looking for some photography inspiration, motivation and challenge.

I'm somewhere around the advanced beginner level. I can shoot in manual but most often use aperture priority. I took B&W film photography in college, but it's been a while. I post-process with GIMP because I'm poor, and usually just do basic color corrections, though I'm capable of more detailed layered stuff.

ETA: I just realized I've got over 1,000 photos from Italy I need to process, so hopefully I can get through those and be inspired to do more!

I am interested and will do my best to keep up with the homework!

I have a dslr but only shoot in auto. And I have in idea what processing is beyond deleting the blurry photos.

You've been added, samssugarmomma! (I SWEAR I'm not actually stalking this thread all day while I'm supposed to be working. Last time I was eating lunch and catching up, and this time I'm waiting for my coworker to come over and help me out with some code because I'm stuck).

Any chance this is going to happen for 2014?

If someone wants to head it up we can attempt it, but if I remember correctly we didn't even make it past the month of January last year . It would probably need to be run by more than one person to keep it going.

I had a feeling that may have been the case! I have no idea how to run it - I've been trying to look for good resources that have assignments, but I haven't found much that stands out to me.
