Donating Dresses

For all the ladies out there I have a request. I am starting to get involved with a group in the Twin Cities called operation glass slipper, it is an organization that gets donations of old prom, cocktail, and bridesmaid dresses and gives them to girls who are low income and would not be able to go to prom if they didn't have this donation. I know there are many different organizations throughout the country but the website for ours here is http://www.operationglassslipper.org. If you can track down an organization like that around you that would be wonderful! I think we all know how important it is for young girls to feel beautiful.

I would never wish my big bad green bridesmaid dress on anyone, but DARN! I'm sure it would look good on someone! I sold it on ebay. Too bad I didn't know about this type of organization earlier! It sounds wonderful!

Believe it or not, I have never been a bridesmaid. But I do have tons of accessories (shoes, bags, jewerly, make-up, etc.). Can I just ship them to you?
