c. Was taking the summer off while working on my master's degree. (was taking some distance learning classes thru Iowa State)



d. had a husband who was working 7 days a week. All I could think about was him finishing his fellowship program.

One year ago I....



a. Was 2 weeks? from defending my thesis....and was also trying to pack the house because the movers came the same day that I defended.



b. Was looking towards our move to Minnesota, unsure of what the future would bring...but looking forward to finally being done with training.



c. Finishing our garage sale and trying to clean the house!



Yesterday, I....



a. Had a Harry Potter Start the Summer Party for my oldest in the evening.



b. Transferred all of our frogs and toads into an extra-long, see-thru rubbermaid container and made a natural ecosystem for them to play in...and spent the day with my children finding ants, worms and grasshoppers to feed them..and watched them eat



c. Talked to my mom on the phone



d. Watched the Sex and the City DVD of the last 6 episodes of the 3rd season with hubby...while drinking oj and Compari



Today, I....



a. Played with the toads and frogs



b. Removed the dead trees in the garden and transplanted some new seedlings



c. Had pizza for breakfast!



Tomorrow I....



a. Will take Finny to summerschool



b. Take my oldest two to soccer



c. Will continue working on two writing projects that I'm involved in



In one year, I...



a. Will have continued to lose weight



b. Will hopefully be teaching the community ed science program for children



c. May decide to have another child?

a. will have all three children in school...holy smokes, Andrew will be starting Junior Highschool.

a.was frantically making preparations for my wedding in August to Jon



b.was a college student taking summer coarses in Federalism and Calculus 2



c.wasn't eating enough



2. Five years ago I....



a. was experiencing Alex's (seven months old at the time)initial problem of hydrocephalus and praying his pain would go away and he wouldn't be brain damaged



b.was figuring out the specifics of Jon's trust fund from his grandmother to help alleviate the financial burdern of his upcoming years of medical school (hadn't started yet)



c. was a basket-case



Two years ago I....



a. was selling my beloved townhouse



b. was the thinnest I've ever been (from running around like a maniac!)

a. I was a freshmen almost a sophmore in college

b. I had a bone in my arm shortened to alleviate a wrist problem caused from years of competitive gymnastics

c. visited my grandmother one last time before she passed away on my birthday. Funny thing- I knew the morning of my bday that she had passed on before my parents told me.

a. moved boxes around my parents' garage to make it easier to load into the moving truck come next Monday.
