I love that song. She was incredible.

Simon is so much nicer in Britian than he is here. If a woman that looked like her sang on AI, he'd tear her to shreds b/c of her appearance (which is why I won't watch it).

I kept seeing her picture on the news, but thought everyone was just talking about the fact that she has never been kissed.

Then I watched YouTube video clip.

I had chills the entire time. Seriously. I would pay to go and see her sing anything. Broadway, opera, BK commercial jingles.

She sounded just like Fantine. I pulled out my Les Mis 10th Anniversary recording to make DF realize how much Susan sounded like Les Mis. And now I am listening to the entire CD. While trying to find out if Les Mis is touring anywhere.

I love the music from Les Mis. I had chills listening to her sing and I wonder just what will become of Susan Boyle now?

I thought the song was so great for her because it's about unfufilled dreams. I imagine that before becoming an old maid she thought her life would have been so different from the life she's living. . . It's good to see her pursue her dream.

I have watched her Youtube clip several times and sent it to my kids (just like my Mom used to send me newspaper clippings) and I look forward to watching her journey. Just beautiful!
