Same here. After living in the Midwest, I'm over the snow, but I heart the rain. We just don't get that much here.

    • It's only the second cold day yet this season and I am already tempted to tell Dipshit that he should look for residencies in central Florida...

I love how you just have that info at your fingertips.

          • I love you and all that jazz - but you are a total head case. (I say that in the nicest way possible!)
I'm with you. I adore overcast, cold days.

                  • We got 3 inches of snow overnight and a six hour power outage. Yay winter.

                      Wow. I think you win.

I totally forgot about power outages. I guess I should prepare better for that before we start getting real snow. Fun.

                      • What's it called when you are raking leaves and shoveling snow at the same time? Oh yeah, HELL. LOL

I don't mind the power outages so much because we are set up for them (woodstove, lanterns and city water) but no power/no school and a teenage boy is a special kind of suffering. You'd think he'd lost his right arm.

                          • Just started raining here. Bummer for the trick-or-treaters. Hope everyone else has more cooperative weather!

Incidentally, it also started raining here about 15min before fireworks were scheduled to go off on the 4th...

                            • It has been raining here for 3 days straight, the sun came out as we were doing school pick-up. So it looks like the kids will get their Trick or Treating, I'm guessing they'll be covered in mud by the time they're done.
