I think it went well! I had good, solid answers and examples for each of their questions and the questions I asked them created some good conversation at the end of the interview. This was the first round, so they'll be doing a second round for those who "made the cut" towards the end of next week. I feel good, but I guess we'll see if I am contacted to return next week.

I got a second interview!! I'm super excited!

There's one problem, though...the only time during next week they can conduct second interviews is next Friday...when I was supposed to leave for a girls weekend in Napa.

I know I had told y'all how excited I was about being able to swing this trip, but honestly - I think I'm going to have to back out. Obviously I don't want to be the person who asks them to be flexible for this second round because I really, really, REALLY want this job.

It's the better decision to prioritize this job opportunity which would be way better pay, way better exposure, and potentially do wonders for my confidence in my work life, right? I'm super bummed, but I think this is the better decision for me. Tell me I'm not crazy or flaky...

Yay, congrats! Prioritizing the interview sounds like the right call to me. Any chance you can come late to the girls' weekend? Or are the flight times not conducive to that?

Yay! It's a pity but good jobs are hard to find so I'd do the interview.
