Well, we finally got our orders so I have actual proof that for the moment, we are still going ot Walter Reed! Now I have to get Power of Attorney so that I can go to the Housing Office and make the moving arrangements. But first I have to attend a briefing (at 7:30 in the morning- I don't even get up for work that early!) and then we'll get it scheduled.
Hopefully, we'll have someplace to go- and hopefully, our house will have sold by then. We've had a couple good nibbles in the past few days, things are definitely picking up. (all of the other military families heading in to SA are on the prowl this week- we've had a few on permissive TDY come looking. My husband heads out the last week in April for his own permissive TDY. So, he'll go to DC and my mother will spoil him for 5 days)
at least its getting started!
