In our desperation to find a rental in DC, I have located another resource-

It lists rentals and homes for sale by miltary base, listing the distance to the closest bases and details about the homes.
I listed ours for rent and I have contacted a few of the rentals so I'll keep you all posted to see how it works. Somehow it feels better renting from people who understand the problems!
