Daegan fell and hit his head on the stone fireplace about an hour before we were supposed to leave for the senior banquet. *shaking head in amused disbelief*. Russ decided it needed to be closed (after his own tantrum) and we went to the eyeclinic, glued it and needless to say we aren't making it to the dinner.

Daegan was more upset by not being able to see Cyberchase while I was holding pressure to stop the bleeding than he was about being hurt. He's such a trooper!

Unfortunately this event highlighted most of our problems communicating etc. We did touch on the "work on it orquit" and we both are very much in the "work on it" camp which was a huge relief to me. I wasn't sure where hishead was ya know? I think our biggest task right now is going to be communicating our expectations and feelings and making sure each other is understood. Ultimately I know we gave the same goals for the future regarding day to day stuff and long term stuff. Itsgetting throughthiscrap right now.

In happy news, Russ ROCKED the OKAPS!!! We'll be the talk of dinner tonight for two reasons.
