Hi everyone:
Jonah Michael is finally here!!! After two days of laboring, I only went to 9 cm and so had to have a repeat c-section. Jonah was born on Wednesday, August 9th at 4:20am. He is adorable!!! He weighed in at 8 pounds and 3 ounces. He measured in at 21 inches.
He had to have surgery the day after birth to close the hole in his diaphragm. There's so much I could tell you, but I don't want to make it too lengthy to read. If you have questions, I will answer them when I am not at the NICU with Jonah. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. It is deeply appreciated!!! And you may pass the word along to those you think may want to know at http://www.heartchoice.com. I know some may be concerned, but then there are others that would find my posts "boring" if you know what I mean. (I mean there's nothing controversial about any of this!!! ~smiles~) I have bad feelings about the board and wanted to come here due to it being more uplifting!!!
