    Kris where are the interviews

  • #2
We just got our plane tickets for my husband's first round of "real job" interviews...I guess this makes the job search official. We are having my mom come out for a week to take care of the children while we go...and I am feeling so nervous about it. I have never been separated from them longer than a few hours....any ideas on how I can prepare the kids for the separation...and prepare myself?

For this round, we are heading north...WI, MN, PA...I am looking forward to it...I am just nervous about the separation....It is kind of neat that all of these places are flying me out as well and have programs set up for me to look at the community. It is such a big decision though...how do you decide, you know?

Yes, St. Cloud is on the list! It has a lot of what we are looking for in terms of being family friendly, etc. We aren't looking at any big cities....after living in small towns for the last 7 years, Gainesville seems huge to us....although it is actually small in terms of city sizes! I think we just outgrew the big city life when we had children. There is something wonderful and quaint about smaller towns that really appeals to us.

So...are you going to make it to the chat tomorrow?

St. Cloud is beautiful--and it is 60 miles from MNPLS--Close enough to a downtown I guess if you really need one but St Cloud is a fine little hamlet i am hearing

and yes I will be on line for the chat tomorrow.
