  • toddler activities????

    Hi everyone--

My girlfriend and I are trying to come up with fun, educational activities to do with our 19 month old sons now that it is cold up here in NH. We get together two days a week, one day at either my house or her house, and the other we do an outing of some sort. We tend to spend 4-5 hours together, and we have fun, but the boys get bored! And it is getting too cold to stay outside for more than a 1/2 hour or so. We came up with a plan that whoever is hosting the play date is responsible for coming up with activities for the boys--but all I can think of is coloring, play-dough, and educational videos.......any ideas?????

    noodles...

We did a lot of noodle crafts when our children were little. You can let them paint them (messy, but fun) and use it to teach colors....and use the colored noodles to learn counting. We even made alligators one winter by making a big one out of cardboard and then gluing....noodles all over it....then we painted it..fun, fun, fun!
