My daughter had her 5th B-day party today. We had it at a gymnastics facility that does birthday parties to relieve some of the pressure here at home...and it was so AWESOME. It started out a bit crummy because we had specifically arranged it on this day so that Thomas could be there...and wouldn't you know it he got stuck at work and couldn't go!!! I was on my own with all three kids and had to get the finishing touches ready....the party was from 6.30-8pm.
So many kids showed up and they all had such a great time...and they had three young girls working there that did EVERYTHING for me: They cut and served the cake, lit the candles, wrote down the names of the people who gave her presents and what they were.....they even had one girl who watched my littlest the entire time! I spent the entire 1.5 hours getting to know the other moms instead of freaking out and my daughter had a blast!
I don't think I will ever have another party in my house !
Just thought I would share that!
