School starting...

I have mixed feelings, I admit it!!! On the one hand, I can hardly wait....I just NEED for the kids to go back to school!!! But yesterday I was driving to kinkos and the yellow school buses were out practicing their routes...and I burst into tears....out of nowhere..I was so surprised!!!!

I know what you mean. It really can be bittersweet sending the kids to school. The protective mom side that wants to be wherever they are kicks in yet the desire for them to go to school is strong too. I must say that this year ... I am happy they are back in school. But... I am also in the same house and the kids are going to the same school. That makes a huge difference! I would be much more stressed and not wanting them to go to school if I was in a new area where my children didn't have many established friends or they didn't know the school well. I don't blame you for crying! That will be me next year!
