  • they still need me

    Hi,

Amy is having her wisdom teeth out today. She is 18, and told me she didn't need me to be there, her boyfriend is taking her. Last night she asked me if I would be there too, and could she ride home with me!!!! Sometimes they still want Mom!

This is a really sweet story! I hope that the procedure goes without a hitch.

I'm 28 and I still talk to my mom at least twice a week and she lives 13 hours away. I hope that my son and I are always close like that.

That's great Luanne. I hope your daughter has an easy time of it and that it all goes well. What a boost for you!!! It's nice to be needed especially by our children who want to grow up so quickly.

How did I miss this post? I think its great that she wanted you to be there too...and to come home with you. At the end of the day, mommy is always the best caregiver

I'm 31, Lu, and I still need my mom. We talk almost daily, and if I had a choice...I'd have her come to the doctor with me too....see...they never stop needing you!
