Matty turned 2 today!

I don't know whether to smile or cry...Matthew turned 2 today. Aaron (he is on vacation) and I both went into get him this morning when he woke up. We sang Happy Birthday - which he loves to hear and then took him downstairs to open his present from us. Actually, we put a black sheet over it and he had to pull it off.



We saved up (actually Aaron got a ton of them from the hospital!!!) Pamper's Points to get him the motorized Jeep. He loved it. The smile on his face was too cute. He road it around the house a few times until I finally disconnected the battery. I couldn't handle my walls getting knocked up anymore!!



I can't wait to see what happens tonight with the cake. We've been trying to teach him about blowing out candles.

I love toddler's birthdays because their eyes light up and they are in such awe of everything! It sounds like you are having a lot of fun!! How did the birthday cake/blowing out the candles go? Enjoy!!!
