Thanks you guys! Yes, I think that I will also age well. Most people tell me I look way younger, so that's good. Did you know that Cheryl Tiegs (still looks great) is a new mother of TWINS? And what about Jane Seymour? Sooooo that will be my image. Not Ma Kettle. And it's not the beauty thing. It's that these other women look HEALTHY! So, that's my resolution is to get healthy.

Have a good Sunday! My husband and I are taking the girls to the zoo, as it's really warm out (OK, so it's "warm" for Canada...). All the snow has melted, and we're going to let the girls run in the tropical pavillion and butterfly room.

Again, thanks for the feedback. I am freaking out for nothing... I think I'll try to celebrate 40!

I turned 29 on December 31st. I am definately not enjoying getting any older but the fun I am having is reminding my husband that I am still in my 20's and he is in his 30's (31) so I am MUCH younger then him! At least it makes me feel better!

I guess I come from a family where age is not considered very important. I will be 26 tomorrow. I was told last week that I look like a 16 year old (which was said by a stranger incredulous that those twins AND that 4 year old were all mine! I think this guy thought I was one of those teenage moms from the way he acted!) Anyway, maybe age is an issue in my family because genetics have been kind in the skin and hair departments. My mom (until recently for some reason) has ALWAYS looked to be in her twenties, so 40 for her was like, "Big deal! I still LOOK and FEEL like I am 25!" My husband and I are looking forward to life after 40 becuase 1) he will be done with all of the training and we will be (hopefully) living financially comfy for the first time in our marriage and 2) when I turn 40 my kids will be 19, 17, and 17 - which means PARTY CITY for me and my husband (ie we just have to worry about college after that! No more diapers, birthday parties, teenage angst attacks, etc!) I am actually REALLY REALLY looking forward to my life after I turn 35 and especially after 40. And, if my body does start to show its age -so what? I'll have one of two options: love it for every wrinkle it's worth (all those war wounds to be proud of - like my tummy's stretch marks) or have a little "work" done if I am so inclined (and not too scared). I guess a lot of my disregard and even anticipation of growing older has to do with the fact that I HATED my teenage years - I was a gawky unpopular nerd with braces, glasses, the whole bit. For some reason I didn't "blossom" until college (about 1 and it has been nothing but improvements since then (except for the pregnancy damage done to my skin). I hope that when I turn 50 I look like Audrey Hepburn and if I don't ( which I probably won't) then hopefully I will have acquired the grace and style (inner beauty) that only people who have lived a long life can have.
