    Congratulations Crystal! That is soooo exciting. Now every time you are in a department store you will have to stop in the girls section and check out all the adorable clothes!!!

                Isn't buying clothes for a little girl fun? At first, I resisted because I thought I should be spending money on other things, but now I can't help but buy a few things. On sale of course!

                Kris- Crystal gave a good definition of IUGR. Our baby is basically small. At 33 weeks, the weight fell into the 10th percentile and a couple other measurements are behind for her gestational age. It was determined that the blood flow and placenta are functioning normally. One dr. said research has suggested that mother's exercise can be a factor in birth weight babies. Which I have been doing moderately and safely. But it is no where conclusive and results are conflicting. Another is that my due date could be off. At this last ultrasound the baby had grown to the 13th percentile still small, but doing better. My OB is no longer concerned about IUGR and everything looks great.

                      We went through a bit of a scare initially with our daughter because of her slow growth in utero, but that resolved itself as well....So many factors can play a role in the size of the baby, etc...and I have also heard that exercise can play a role in the size of the baby....

                      I'm glad to hear that things are back on track for you guys and that you aren't worried anymore....

                      Congratulations to both of you....having a girl is so much fun! We try and check out all of the sales at gymboree...they always have some items that are 40-70% off and we often will buy things at the end of one season for the beginning of the next....their sizes are always reliable...
