~Interviewing for his residency year in N. Ireland. We miscalculated the time that it would take for us to drive to the docks in Stranrear, Scotland from England and we had to be at the Ferry to get over to N. Ireland early in the morning. We had to cancel our hotel booking and drive through the night....with Thomas and Andrew (then 6 mo.) sleeping in the car, I drove on this winding road through the scottish countryside...I was driving on the Left, of course and the trucks were impatient with how slowly I was driving (still doing a respectable 55 or so!). It was sooo dark and I just drove and prayed that we would make it!!!!

We arrived at the docks with about 2 hours to go before loading our car on the Ferry....we slept on the docks with Andrew........and then took the Ferry over.....

It was just such an adventure........

- FINALLY getting in after the 3rd try.
- Getting married
- Buying our first place
- Getting pregnant and then daddy delivering Matthew
- The night before Match hanging out with all of Aaron's/our friends
- Seeing Aaron walk across the stage at graduation and the look on his mom's face after all the years of effort.

Residency
- Seeing Aaron at work being a "real" doctor.
- The day Aaron came home to tell me how he saved a person's life.
- Consolidating Aaron's loans at 4.5% and then defering them for another 3 years!!!!

Med School
- FINALLY getting in after the 3rd try.
- Getting married
- Buying our first place
