        I voted no, because Matt can actually get in trouble for prescribing to family members. It is against "housestaff policy."

              Really, Crystal? Wow! During residency, my husband was more likely to prescribe something...ie an antibiotic....but now that he is done, he feels that it is unethical to prescribe for family members...he says that he lacks objectivity and also doesn't want us as his 'patients' since we're family...



              bummer!



              That's interesting though that they've made it illegal for housestaff...though on the other hand, it is understandable. He does bring home samples though....and isn't afraid to diagnose himself

                    Rick says I'm "too old" for him to prescribe to! (and actually he really can't- I have to get my prescriptions through the Family Medicine Clinic or through referral to other docs.)

                          That's right...he's doing peds! Thomas won't prescribe for the kids either...says it is out of his field....and I suppose it is but I like to give him a hard time about it!
