Great plan!!! If only it would work ... sigh...

He had thought of gastroenterology but... for some reason that I can't remember, he decided against it. hmmm....

He is in Michigan right now checking out a general surgery residency program that he is interested in. He wanted to see for himself exactly what his life would be like as a gen. surgeon resident and he wanted to see the area to see if he would want our family to live there. He had to live it for a month to know for sure. He doesn't want to have "what might have been" feelings and I agree.

I am too tired to think about it anymore tonight so I will have to wait and analyze the whole decision-making process tomorrow when I can think more clearly. Maybe I will wake up and all my decisions will be made! Ha!

I checked Geisinger's site out today and they don't have an anesthesiology program. He could go for general surgery there if he is interested. I love looking at the scenery around the hospital. Beautiful.

Hate to be a party pooper, but I am with everyone else - DOWN WITH SURGERY!!! My hubby is a 2nd year resident and the schedule S**KS big time. I vote for the easier lifestyle!
