Hello Heidi from your Secret Santa!!

    I've been to the beach,
    but never to your state.
    I've never eaten a peach,
and I don't stay up very late.

hmmmm...never eaten a peach? ...never been to my state? You must live out West, or in the South, or the Atlantic seaboard, or pretty much anywhere but Ohio.

I've no idea who you are!

Still in the trenches are we,
      miles and miles from home.
      Sonic's abound aplenty,
but no TJ's here to roam.

(I've never been to a Trader Joe's, but after reading about them here, I'm drooling!)

Am I picking up on a southern vibe here?

        color-me-sulky? cumberland?

          Yup I'm down here
          deep in the South
          where people talk like
they got marbles in thar mouth.

          I'm a mom too, it's true
but I don't have as many as you!

              Deep in the south,
              in a gamblin' town.
              And surprisingly enough
is one of the 100 biggest cities around.

              ( to that fact - we don't even have a Macy's!!)

My little one is quite younger than yours,
though he can walk and now open doors!!

I think most places in the south are gamblin' towns, the difference is that some go to casinos and the rest do it behind closed doors with the shades drawn, with alcohol!

I would guess Michele, but I don't think her son is old enough to open doors.

I'm grabbing at straws here. I don't know of any iMSNers in a southern gambling town (New Orleans, Biloxi?)!

:hey: You got me!!!!! I didn't think he could do it either!! But we have the lever kind on the doors that lead outside...and he can do those! Right before I was posting the last clue I was going in and out to get firewood....I must not have locked the door behind me and as I was poting he clue he opened the door and was starting to go outside! It's a good thing I was right in the room and that he's still shy about going down "steps." I make sure to lock all doors behind me now!!

Shreveport has quite a few casinos on the Red River.....I'm from Florida and the longer I'm here in the "South" the more I realized Florida doesn't count!

I haven't gotten your gift yet, but I promise it should be there before Christmas!

                      Yay!

I can't believe your little son can already open doors! It's time to put bells on your outside doors!

                        Michele,

My gift arrived today. I love the picture frame! Classy silver...thanks so much! The note from Daegan is precious. I can't believe how much he's grown, and all that curly blonde hair!

                        Merry Christmas!

Glad you like it! And glad it made it there before Christmas...I was worried there would be lots of delays.

His hair is great....most days it has a mind of it's own...like picture day! Russ wants to buzz it, but I love the wild-child look!!

                          Merry Christmas!
